The recent National Media Attention we’re getting about being “racist” is unfair. Rant incoming.

If you’ve followed the Texans long enough, you’ve realized that the National Media doesn’t talk about us much. In most recent memory it’s been the Watson fiasco and now Lovie and the last three black coaches we’ve fired in the last 3 seasons.

Here’s the hard truth to swallow. We’re just a terribly run organization, not racist. Both of these coaches have been fillers and it’s been obvious to me and most people in this sub. The Lovie hiring actually saved our organization because it was McCown who coming before Flores’s suit. The fact this organization is getting dragged for being racist is unfair. Drag us for making stupid decisions that have made us the worst team in football the last 3 years.

Is it unfair that we only gave these coaches one year to turn around this s**t roster? The argument can definitely be made that it is. But it boils down to our management and ownership making HUGE mistakes. Not that we’re some kind of evil racist team that wants to see black coaches fail. That’s bullshit. Rant over.
