The Positive thing about David Johnson

This is not a post defending trade-was a terrible trade.

But I think having david and duke compared to hyde and duke is that we can disguise run plays/rb pass plays better. Duke and David (if hes back to par) both are more multidimensional than hyde. Duke and david are similar players with slightly different strengths but not quite as different compared to Hyde. Thus defenses wont be able to immediately anticipate a run up the middle play like they could with hyde when he was in the backfield
