The offense will be fine

I think the guys have gotten too much slack for the Rams loss. I was disappointed but despite not having Mixon, Kirk, and an OL shuffle they still gave themselves a shot. This was the first real game with a new system against an elite front. I think the offense will improve as the season progresses. It’s honestly a bit funny how quickly narratives change in the NFL. Just look at Bryce Young.

I only have one concern with the offense (for now) and that’s the lack of discipline. We get a staggering amount of penalties. This has been a constant issue and I think we are all tired of watching them shoot themselves in the foot over and over again. Otherwise I’m holding judgement until we get a decent sample size.

Side note: I try my best not to write think pieces but I’m too emotionally invested into this team 😔. Hopefully we can get a nice dub on Monday. 🐂
