The feedback on the elected official asking for a raise bothered me a bit

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and so I'm being silly for being bothered but I'm thinking people didn't watch or read what happened. She started by saying I'm not bothered by my salary but more so the appointed officials raises and then went on to advocate for inequity.

All fairness to anyone who says you shouldn't be on the committee but why the hell would they even allow it in the first place after I believe she asked for a legal opinion. They gave a 9 percent raise over 7 years so less the inflation and she still didn't get anything.

I think its pretty awesome knowing ur not getting the raise and making it a point to take criticism to point out something you don't like which I believe is the spending. All respect to anyone who disagrees though.
