The eclipse is a month away. What is traffic going to be like?

I got a place to stay just outside of Austin for the eclipse. I don't think the drive there will be as bad since everyone will stagger in, but I'm thinking everyone in the Houston area is going to be trying to drive back right after it ends. Any guesses how long the drive from Austin to Houston will be on April 8? What about the 9th? I'm already leaning toward staying until 9th, but is the 9th going to be any better?
