The Best Part About Brantley Coming Back

While we may not be dominating the division as in years past, it is "fun" (stressful) to be in a close race like this. Huge playoff implications and scoreboard watching around the league, are a couple of things I have missed. I consider every game moving forward a playoff game for rest of the regular season.

Michael Brantley, the Smiling Silent Assassin, is back baby! The best part about it? Nothing in return to add him to the squad. No trades, no giving up MLB players or prospects. It's like we just added a historically consistent and professional hitter for nothing! Obviously Crane has paid his salary while he's been on IL, but other than that, its like we are getting a (hopefully still) above average hitter for nothing in the final push for the playoffs and hopefully a WS!

I hope he is fresh and limber cause we are going to need him to fully be what we can be! After all the setbacks, I am glad to see he is finally here and he has been performing immediately on the rehab assignment. CHEERS MR MICHAEL BRANTLEY! WE HAVE MISSED YOU AND CANT WAIT TO SEE THAT BEAUTIFUL LEFT HANDED SWING!!!!
