The Houston-based watering hole will once again break the record for the longest bar in Texas — this time, at its fourth location that’s slated to open in the Heights

Kirby Ice House will beat its own record with its fourth Houston location in the Heights.

The local watering hole will boast a 146-foot-long bar, according to a release, beating out the bar at its outpost in The Woodlands by 5 feet, and it seems like with every outpost, the bars just keep getting longer. The bar at Kirby Ice House in The Woodlands, which now holds the record for longest bar in Texas, spans 141 feet, which is around 20 feet longer than Kirby Ice House’s bar in Memorial.

Similar to Kirby’s other locations, the Heights outpost, which is situated on 4 acres of land, will offer plenty of room for booze-fueled activities with 12,000 square feet dedicated to the indoor experience, which features around 20 percent more seating than the Memorial location. Another 12,000-square-foot is allotted for the outdoor space. The bar promises signature cocktails, wine, and over 50 beers on tap at its indoor-outdoor bar, along with “elevated” service, outdoor TVs, a top-notch audio system, and a rotation of food trucks to provide further nourishment on its back patio.
