The 2023 City Nature Challenge begins (Fri 4/28 – May 1).

Participating is easy. Just get outside, take pictures of any flora, fauna, fungi – any type of wildlife you find – and upload it to iNaturalist (app or website). by May 1. You don’t even have to ID it, people in the iNaturalist network will do that for you, but every image you upload will contribute to this amazing citizen science, global research effort. Any pictures you upload will count toward the Houston-Galveston City Nature Challenge project.

Get outdoors this weekend and take pictures of all the nature our Bayou City has to offer.
