Texas weekly unemployment claims reach lowest levels since March
Some eight months into the coronavirus pandemic, Texas workers continue to file jobless claims at a high clip.
Workers in the Lone Star State filed 32,422 first-time unemployment insurance claims during the week ended Nov. 7, according to U.S. Department of Labor data released Nov. 12. Texas saw a decrease of 5,179 unemployment claims from the previous week, when 37,601 claims were filed.
