Texas schools now have options for 2020 graduations
The Texas Education Agency provided four options for schools to hold graduation ceremonies starting May 15, as Gov. Abbott’s Strike Force to Open Texas plan enters its next phase.
The four options are:
Virtual ceremonies with the use of videoconference or other technologies.
Hybrid ceremonies, which consist of a compilation of videos filmed by students of them being recognized as they celebrate graduation in small groups.
Vehicle ceremonies, in which students and their families wait in their cars…
