Texas, Houston score more accolades for capital investment projects

Texas is the No. 1 state again — and Houston claims another top spot — in Site Selection magazine’s latest Governor’s Cups awards.

The main award recognizes states with the most capital investment projects from companies in the previous year. Qualifying projects have a minimum investment of $1 million, create 20 or more new jobs and/or build 20,000 square feet or more of new space.
