Texas governor mandates self-quarantine for flyers from select states
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott unveiled new restrictions for flyers coming to Texas from states where COVID-19 has seen considerable outbreaks.
Abbott required flyers coming in from New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and New Orleans to self-quarantine for 14 days or whenever they leave Texas, whichever comes first. Abbott’s declaration comes in the form of an executive order, which he announced in a press conference Thursday, March 26.
