Texas Gov. Abbott waives regulations for alcohol delivery, telemedicine, more
Although Texas Gov. Greg Abbot ordered bars to close and limited restaurants’ service statewide, he made it easier for Texans to order alcohol and support local businesses.
In a response to the financial hardships the hospitality industry is facing, Abbott issued a waiver for restaurants with a mixed-beverage license to deliver to patrons.
Customers can order beer, wine or a mixed drink, as long as they order their drinks with their food.
