Texas Gov. Abbott outlines business priorities: Lower taxes, better workforce training, fewer regulations

During NFIB’s Small Business Day in Austin, Gov. Greg Abbott praised the state’s small business community as key to its ongoing economic prosperity. He also outlined his priorities for the 2023 Legislature. For a governor who has been divisive for some of his social stances, it was a chance for Abbott to speak directly to business concerns.
