Texas bars get Gov. Abbott’s green light to reopen

Bars across Texas can reopen on May 22, Gov. Greg Abbott said.

“Bars, wine tasting rooms, craft breweries and similar businesses can open at a 25% capacity,” Abbott said during a May 18 news conference. “Those capacity limits do not apply to outdoor areas that maintain safe distancing.”
