Texans Vs. Titans Positives

Deshaun “Freaking “Watson – nothing much needs to be said here, he completely dominated the Titans defense throughout the entire game

The Receivers / and Fells ( kinda )- They creates separation all game long and even when they didn’t have separation they made the difficult catches off the tight window throws Deshaun was delivering them

The O- Line – they blocked pretty well in both facets of the offense and even though it’s the titans ( one of the worst pass rushes in the league ) on paper they have a really really good group of guys, and the o line really did a good job of giving Deshaun time and the Johnson bros holes to run through.

Roby and Watt- Roby made some huge plays in the game despite not having much help from the rest of the secondary ( it’s a shame we don’t have Conley who is also at the pseudo 1 corner level ) and JJ is well JJ Watt, and he looked vintage yesterday. JJ has been sacrificing his numbers all season for the sake of the team and he’s made just about every play that he has been able to make.

Romeo- Big ups to him for going for two, very good call even though we didn’t get it. I like the aggression and trust he has in Deshaun I’m glad we are letting him go or and be free.

Special Teams- Kaimi had a missed PAT but he’s been lights out all year , Brian Anger is in competition for best punter in the league the way he’s been playing , and between the block and missed field goal/ flipping field and rallying and making tackles on Raymond all day long we had a very solid showing for our S/T

Weaver/ Kelly- Tim Kelly really looks like he’s fighting for his job and leaving it all out there with his playcalling with these back to back 30+ point games. I know people are ready to crucify Weaver, but you gotta remember that he can’t get in pads and make tackles for them too. He has had 5/6 good weeks of defensive playcalling and with the lack of talent we have on that side of the ball that’s very impressive. I really want to see what he could do with actual talent along the defensive front outside of JJ.
