Texans should seek out to sign Derek Carr when he inevitably gets cuts.

I know everyone wants a shiny new model and think it's the best thing that can happen to this franchise but to be honest we'd regret it. With Nick wanting to go young everywhere else you need a guy like Carr that provides some stability and a veteran presence.

Granted we don't overpay him of course, but a 30-35 mil a year contract for a (in my opinion) a top 10 QB in the league you take that all day. Anymore than that and we might as well draft a QB but for that price tag it's the right call. This year isn't on him. Hell maybe Davante Adam's will want to follow him as well. The raiders are fumbling this hard and don't realize their HC is the issue just yet.
