Texans Head Coaching Process Looks Even Better As Time Passes

Regardless of how the DeMeco Ryans hire looks as time goes by I don't know too many people that think it was a bad hire. I also believe he will leave the franchise better than it was when he came into it, no matter what.

He was one of the top candidates, many teams wanted to hire him, he seems like a good fit and there is a whole nother level of excitement he adds that has the city excited.

Now with Steichen, another candidate the Texans interviewed, being in the division we have a direct comparison to a candidate many liked. This is going to be a FUN ride.

Add to it that Payton interviewed here and ended up in Denver after they tried to get DeMeco AND the fact that two more guys the Texans interviewed, Gannon and Kafka, appears to be at the top of the Arizona list and the search looks even stronger. There could be as many as four of the seven guys interviewed ending up with a HC job. Makes for some amazing dialogue during the early part of the Ryans Era.

Gotta love it. Covering and following this squad is as fun as it has been in a while.
