Terrible jersey luck — need advice

Guys I really think I am cursed.

At the beginning of the 2018 season I bought myself my first NFL jersey (I was a senior in high school, first time I had enough money to get one!) and I picked a player who was super exciting to me, Jadeveon Clowney. At the end of the year he's gone and now I have a worthless jersey.

So what do I do next? Can't watch texans games without wearing a jersey, that's bad luck. So I go ahead and get myself a sick red alternate Hopkins jersey. Arguably the best receiver in the league, no way he goes anywhere right? WRONG. I get to wear the jersey for one year and then bob sends him off for a bag of chips.

2020 season, I am pretty wary of buying a jersey but I still need one. I pick someone who definitely won't leave… Deshaun Watson. He plays one year then quits on the team and turns out to be a pretty bad guy off the field.

Is it bad luck to buy a jersey at this point? This can't be a coincidence. I want to get a Pierce, Stingley or Pitre Jersey but what are the odds they stay with the team? I know a way to guarantee I can always wear my jersey if if I get an old one (Johnson, Foster, Watt) but I like wearing current jerseys so I can get extra hype when they make plays. What young exciting player do you think has the best odds to stay with us in the long run?
