Tenant reporting bed bugs

I rent a room in my townhome out and this tenant has been living in the room for more than two months, almost 3. He has just reported to me he may have gotten bitten by bed bugs.

There was a tenant who lived there for 3 months before him, who did not report the problem.

This is very new to me, wonder what actions I should take?
