Tell me all I need to know about this team

I'm a lifelong Broncos fan, and always will be, barring unforeseen circumstances, but I have lived in Texas for several years now, and having family from Houston, I have always had a soft spot for the Texans and a dislike for the Cowgirls. I just haven't followed the Texans much and want to do so next season, so what do I need to know about this team?
