Tech job/Networking event/Staffing Agency

Anyone know any place/technology networking events in Houston? Or just a place to meet lots of people in tech?

I have searched for job agencies in Houston in Google map and saw a few like Korn Ferry, should I go there in person and submit my resume/get to know/network with the recruiters there?

Should I go to small businesses meetup to find opportunities?
