Team Store vs Online (Big Box Store)

As we all know the new Gold Rush stuff came out and it was great. I went later in the day and found basically everything I wanted, however, I did notice the prices for everything were so much more expensive than I thought. For instance I bought a Bregman jersey from MLB shop and it was around $160 for everything but my girlfriend got a Peña one and it cost $200! I noticed the same thing for Space City, I bought the jersey at academy for around 170 and at the Team Store it’s $200.

Why is that a thing? Just wondering if anybody knows why
