Tax Assessor Appointments

Hi Houstonians. I need to get my registration renewed since it’s over a year out of date. I want to take care of it before the April ticketing date.

I made an appointment at the tax assessors office for 4:40 (they have appointments until 5:40) but the online hours say it closes at 4:30.

Has anybody had experience with this? I don’t want to drive down there to get turned away.
