Tall, dead pecan tree

Are there any tree hobbyists here? I have a big, maybe 40' pecan tree that was struck by lightning. It's still standing but will need to go. I figured to call a tree company, but they might just mulch it. If the tree is solid, I figured it could be worth something to someone.

I am asking if anyone knows if I should just call a tree company or if there is a service that will charge me less because they can use the tree.
