Talk to Me About The Woodlands

Wife and I are back in eight weeks. My job is in the Woodlands, she WFH. We would like for her to experience having access to all Houston has to offer, which to me means inside the loop. However, I’m certain the Woodlands has developed, what is the restaurant scene like, what about night life? Any other professional ‘young-ish’ couples out there that care to chime in?

I made the ‘reverse’ commute from Midtown to the Woodlands when I was 22, now we’re both 30. Admittedly that commute was horrible, I took Hardy daily to and fro. My hours will be 6:00AM-3:00PM, three days a week in office, two from home. If we chose to be inside the loop, the Heights is the obvious choice IMO. Would appreciate some info on what the ‘reverse’ commute is like during those hours as well.
