Taking a mini honeymoon here, looking for fun things to do.

My soon to be wife and I are renting a house boat in the bay to stay in for a mini honeymoon after the courthouse marriage in Sept. We re from San Antonio and neither of us have really ever been to Houston so we thought why not go wing it and see some new stuff. We like going to art galleries and good hole in the wall restaurants, seeing live music, and really any new kind of experience. If anyone has any suggestions that would be very much appreciated, I already have the Houston space center and the museums near the zoo on my list of potential things. If anyone knows anything near kemah that's cool that would be a bonus.
