Taking a girl out on a date to a town I know nothing about

We're meeting in the middle and the middle is new caney. I've only ever drove though so I have no idea what to do there and TripAdvisor is not listing anything that actually sounds good. We're going on Saturday and it's supposed to be in the 40s so unless it's not windy a park is out.
