Tailgating Question for Sunday

Sunday will be my first Texans game and I want to experience all the stuff which includes tailgating which I’ve never done. Questions:

Do we need a parking pass? We were just going to walk to the stadium from our hotel and weren’t planning on parking at NRG but we can.
I did a search and saw a couple years ago that blue lot is the place to be, is that still true?
I don’t want to drink, I’m just there for the vibes/experience. Is that okay 😅 or kinda weird?

Anything else I need to know? I’m so excited!
