Switching light companies

As mentioned above, looking to switch light provider. Anyone have some luck on shopping for a new provider?
My energy provider contract is ending end of August. They are stating that if I renew onto one of their contracts, it'll go from 10.2 kWh to 17.4kWh.
Seems like too crazy of an adjustment by more than 50%. Checked out powertochoose Houston and cheapest I found was 15.1kWh.

Any help would be appreciated.
