Surgery Options For Uninsured Elderly Mother

Hello,

my mother resides in The Woodlands and she shattered her ankle and needs surgery. Unfortunately she is uninsured and cannot get the procedure done unless she pays a ludicrous amount up front ($10,000 – $11,000). I wanted to see if there are any programs out there that she could use. She shattered it bad and she needs to get it done ASAP. What are her options?
