Suggestions for out of town fishers? Galveston?

Hello and happy Monday!

My boss is coming to town in a couple of weeks and he loves to fish. Does anyone have good recommendations on where would be best? He’s staying downtown and will have a car, but will not have any gear with him. Maybe also what kind of fish he might catch would be good to know too! He doesn’t mind pier fishing but I think he likes boat fishing too.
