Suggestions for Hotel

My high school reunion is coming up after Christmas. It will be at a venue near the Galleria. My friends and I would like to get rooms at a nice hotel for the weekend, with decent dining, in case we decide not to drive much. Prob 180-250/night room range. Prefer elegant, more traditional. Suggestions?
