Sudden increase in tap water iron levels?

Anyone else in Harris County notice a difference in their tap water recently?

In the past few days our toilets suddenly have brown rings around the water line. I keep cleaning them and it reappears in a day. According to google this is due to iron in the water. We didn’t have this issue previously, I’m wondering if this is a municipal issue or something with our plumbing. Anyone else noticing differences in the water lately?
