Structural Engineer Recs

I’m under contract for a single story house in the alief area and am trying to find a structural engineer to do a foundation check. The only company (Texas Structural Emgineers LLC) that seemed to be available soon (for 01/18) quoted me $1100. That seems so expensive and I have no idea why they’re charging that much. Any reasonable recommendations for structural engineers in the area??
