Stomach Virus/Bug going around?

Does anyone know of any viruses/bugs going around the Houston area? My fiancé has been violently ill for a day and half now. Mostly vomiting and some pretty severe stomach cramping associated with it. Just trying to figure out if it’s some kind of virus and how long he’s going to be sick. Whatever it is is terrible. He has been up the last 2 nights probably 6-8 times each night throwing up. 🙁
