Staying in Westchase? Safe?

I'm staying in Westchase this weekend. Specifically off of Westpark by the Tollway (near Mexican Consulate). Should I be worried? Lol I've read a bunch of posts about crime in the area and we're only staying here since it's close to the Viet restaurants. Should I move to a different area of Houston?
