State of Giving & Nonprofits: Nonprofits faced a rocky 2020 as funding seemed to disappear over night

The fall and winter season is, for many nonprofits, their busiest time of the year. The end of the calendar year is when many hold their galas, luncheons, races and other big-ticket events. With Covid-19 canceling those events or diverting them online, many local nonprofits are bringing in a fraction of their 2019 income this year.
