Startup scene in Huston

Hi everyone,

I’m a good software engineer with 10+ years of experience.

Even though big Corp pays well. Everyone is underused and sometimes it feels like there is no challenge involved while working for them.

Sometimes I think that the only way to build your career in Big Corp is climbing the ladder and making corporate bullshit your lifestyle. I’m a creator and I don’t want to follow that path.

That’s why I’m looking for new difficult challenges instead of a bigger paycheck. I know that there are a lot of hot startups with great value proposition in Houston but I don’t know how to network myself in the scene. It’s even more difficult while we are through pandemic times.

Do you have any advice for a young man in my situation?
