Stars in the sunset

I was driving home today around 8:30 and saw what looked like 3 stars right around the sunset. It was weird because I drive home about that time almost every day and never really seen any like that, especially since it wasn’t completely dark yet. Wondering if anyone else saw and questioned the same thing?
