Stafford & Med Center Mid-way Spot?

I live in the med center with a toddler and frequently host or drive out to my friend’s place in Stafford to hang with her and her toddler. It’s only 25 minutes if I’m not going during rush hour, but I was wondering if there was a good place sort of in the middle for us to meet?

Also if you’re close enough for traffic not to be a hassle at 9 am, the Zoo is an amazing place for toddlers that early! Lots of wide open spaces that don’t get crowded until closer to 10:30. Most of the animals are up and about and there are zookeepers everywhere who are so friendly and engaging. And I can bring in food and bev so it’s not a million dollars or a trip out to the car for snacks. We love it but again, it’s like a 5 minute drive for us.
