Spicy chicken food truck to replace shuttered burger joint in the Heights

A relatively new food truck has swooped in to take over the former home of Balls Out Burger.

Mico’s Hot Chicken announced on Instagram that it would move into its first brick-and-mortar location at 1603 N. Durham Drive in the Heights. The new restaurant is expected to open in January or February.

The food truck at 2829 Chimney Rock Road in the Uptown/Galleria area will remain open until further notice.
