SpaceX rocket coming to Space Center Houston

Visitors at Space Center Houston will be able to walk underneath a previously flown Falcon 9 rocket beginning next week.

The First Stage Booster, which will be displayed horizontally and holds nine first-stage engines, was a contribution from Elon Musk’s SpaceX. The exhibit opens March 12.

It will be the first commercial space exhibit for Space Center Houston, adding to the organization’s growing collection of flown space vehicles and historic rockets.
