Southwest opens its largest maintenance complex at Houston’s Hobby Airport

Southwest Airlines Co. officially opened its new 240,000-square-foot maintenance complex to its facility portfolio at William P. Hobby International Airport (HOU) on Jan. 8.

The new complex is the largest in Southwest’s network, the Dallas-based carrier said in a news release. The multipurpose facility includes offices, training facilities, warehouse space and a 140,000-square-foot hangar.
