Southwest Airlines to end operations at Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH)

Southwest’s latest departure from IAH and other initiatives are expected to contribute between $1 billion and $1.5 billion in 2024 year-over-year pre-tax profits, the company said in its first-quarter earnings report released April 25.
