Southern Restaurant?

Tomorrow is date night and my BF has requested southern food, as he’s been traveling for work in Mississippi all week.

I was thinking Lucille’s, but many reviews mention how loud it is because of the small space. Since he’s been gone all week we are looking forward to catching up so want a quieter restaurant. Can anyone recommend other good southern restaurants?

I was also considering La Lucha (although more gulf coast food) or maybe Killen’s, which we haven’t been to.

BF says no “Louisiana southern”, which I take to mean no Cajun/creole, which disqualifies most of my usual southern places.
