Something burning near ikea?

I was on Katy freeway at around 10 pm. I noticed a burning rubber smell and alot of smoke coming from the ikea parking lot. Was there a fire burning or was it possible that there was people doing a tire burnout? I didnt really pay attention to see if there was cars.
