Someone at EŌS gym just prayed for me/with me – the gym is not the place to indoctrinate people

What is wrong with people?! This guy just asked me if I wanted to do a simple prayer with him and I’m like yeah sure, then it turns into this whole speech about Jesus Christ saving me and why I need to join his church. It was truly the strangest thing I’ve encouraged living here 30 years. I felt uneasy after we were done praying and it seemed like he was trying to brainwash me. How do people think this is an effective way to convert people to their religion? I thought we were doing a 30 second prayer not a whole sermon while I’m working out. I’m still creeped out. Has this happened to anyone else? Then I saw him do it to other people. Let people work out, the gym is not the place to do this.
