Some more Houlihan’s restaurants close ahead of Landry’s acquisition

Houlihan’s Restaurant + Bar closed at least a handful of locations nationwide on Dec. 29, just before Houston-based Landry’s Inc. is slated to acquire the chain.

The recently closed locations included:

Two Kansas City-area restaurants in Fairway and Olathe, Kansas
A St. Louis-area restaurant in Creve Coeur, Missouri
The company’s restaurant in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey
A Grand Rapids restaurant, the company’s last remaining Michigan location
