Soccer teams for 11 year olds

My 11 year old son wants to join a soccer team. The only kind of teams I can find are ones where you practice 1 hour before the game or very serious leagues. He’s a beginner. I’d like something where they meet up at least once a week to practice with game day on a different day. We homeschool so joining a school team is not an option lol.

ETA: we live in houston near clear lake and pearland. We’re willing to drive wherever though.
